If you’ve got more than one child in your house, you may have forgotten how little you knew about parent when you first brought them home from the hospital. But that’s hardly surprising. Most of us are completely overwhelmed the first time we walk through the aisles of a Babies R Us and see the incredible array of products like baby proof electrical outlets, wipe warmers and strollers.
At the same time, we all want to make certain that our precious new child is safe and secure. That’s why most of us happily purchase products like child proof outlets well before we need them. After all, your baby won’t be particularly mobile for the first year or so of its life.
But that doesn’t mean you won’t need a healthy selection of safety products when baby starts walking around. Once you’ve seen the destruction that even a happy two year old can do to a room, you’ll be glad you spent a few bucks on items like outlet covers and cabinet locks. If nothing else, they buy a fair amount of peace of mind.
Parenting is something you learn as you go along. And if everything works out, your kids grow up happy and healthy, just like you want them to.
